The Factory

The Factory Sports & Fitness Training is an all inclusive sports performance experience for all athletes in the Low-Country of South Carolina. We are dedicated to the development of speed, strength, power, and performance in all sports.

We believe that all athletes, no matter their age or skill level, can improve their ability on the playing field and court by developing themselves physically, mentally and spiritually off the field.

We also strive to provide an enjoyable fitness experience for adults by incorporating high intense workout class that produce unlimited results. In doing so, we support families in their efforts to reach their goals by making this experience a family affair.

The staff is committed to the families we serve, providing support and encouragement.

Coach Kendrick

Kendrick Robinson played college basketball at Francis Marion University (2008-10) and graduated with a BA in Business Management. Prior to enrolling at FMU,

Robinson played two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College making the all conference teams both seasons(2006-08).

In 2006, he graduated from Goose Creek High School, where he lettered in two sports, playing quarterback for the football team and point guard for the basketball team earning All-Region, All-Lowcountry and All-State honors in both sports as a senior,

Robinson helped lead the GCHS basketball team to the 2006 state championship game and was selected as 1 of the 2 top point guards to play in the SC vs NC all star game at Winthrop University.

Coach Robinson has trained players of all skill levels and ages, including NCAA Division 1 athletes and professional basketball players.

He has also coached youth basketball at the Goose Creek Recreation Center.

Coach Jamie

CERTIFIED STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH | CERTIFIED SPEED & AGILITY COACH

Jamie Fordham played college football at Coastal Carolina University (2005-09) and graduated with a BS in Recreation and Sports Management. 

Fordham graduated from Goose Creek High School, where he lettered in football his final two years, serving as team captain for both.

He played in the North-South All-Star Game his senior year after rushing for 1,488 yards and 13 touchdowns.

During this time, he was also named one of the top 100 seniors by the SC High School Sports Report and garnered First Team All-Region honors.

In addition to football, Fordham also ran track, posting a career-best 10.89 in the 100-meter dash as a junior and clocking at 4.44 in the 40-yard dash prior to his senior season.

Coach Fordham has helped athletes of all ages improve their strength, speed, power, and agility. He has also coached high school football at GCHS.

Tierra Covington

Xtreme Hip Hop Step Coach & Owner of ReFuel Nutrition

"My name is Tierra Covington. I’ve been a certified Xtreme Hip Hop Instructor for a little over a year. I got started because I love the style format and what it teaches. Xtreme teaches what starts off hard can become easier as long as you don’t stop and don’t give up!! Seeing results and growth in those who come to class is my reason why I continue to instruct Xtreme."

Jaymeke J. Smith

Mobility & Injury Prevention Coach

Mr. Smith is a 25 year old specialist in the field of mobility, injury prevention methods and athletic performance as a whole, while also being assertive on the skill & development side of basketball training. He is a Graduate from Johnson University (FL) where he graduated with 1 of his 2 degrees in sport and fitness leadership. After finishing his collegiate career athletically he was immediately brought onto the staff where he was the head basketball skills trainer for the Varsity men’s program and also served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach. J. Smith has been actively training other athletes looking to improve on and off the designated area of play for 3 years now.

Sheena Lanham

Volleyball Skills Development Coach

Coach Lanham began playing volleyball as a freshman at Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, eventually becoming a 4 year letter winner in 2005. At Berkeley High, coach Lanham also lettered in basketball and soccer. After graduating from Berkeley High, coach Lanham earned a volleyball scholarship to Claflin University in Orangeburg, SC where she earned freshman of the year honors amongst other awards. After her playing career ended, coach Lanham began her coaching career with the Junior Varsity Hanahan Hawks. After two seasons leading the JV Hawks, Coach Lanham accepted the position of Varsity head coach in 2018. In addition to her volleyball responsibilities, Coach Lanham serves as the Junior Varsity basketball head coach.

Booker T. Peake lll

Running Back University Coach

Coach Booker has coached youth football for 16 years with 9 of those years being at the high school level. He played running back for CSU, was the MVP of his senior season, and a 4 year Letterman.
